Amy Chura: I am a Las Vegas native. I graduated from Bonanza High School in 1990. I was a teacher for five years at Von Tobel Middle School and a Dean for two years at Fremont Middle School. I am thrilled to open a new building as Assistant Principal at Canarelli.
 
Gabe Carmona: I grew up in Wheatland, California just outside of Sacramento. With both of my parents being educators in California, this profession was a natural selection. I was a teacher and a coach for four years at Westland Middle School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I went out of the country for a year and taught at an American School in Mexico. After relocating to Las Vegas, I taught for a couple of years at Von Tobel Middle School and served as Dean of Students for two years. As an Assistant Principal at Canarelli Middle School, I am honored to work with such a wonderful staff.

Diane Hovland: I was born and raised on a farm in Minnesota. I was a registered nurse before going into education. The science classroom was my home for the past 20 years before coming to Canarelli Middle School. My interests beyond the school day include spending time with my husband of 29 years, playing with my two Burmese cats and preparing for my weekly piano lesson. I am pretty excited to be a Canarelli Colt!
