Jennifer Keller
Sixth Grade Counselor
I grew up in Connecticut and earned my teaching degree at Wheelock College
in Boston. I have been teaching in the Clark County School District
for the past 12 years, teaching in both elementary and middle school.
I earned my Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of
Phoenix. I have two boys ages 5 and almost 2. I love spending time with
my family and traveling whenever I can. I am looking forward to my new
role as a counselor here at Canarelli.
Chiarina Chaney
Seventh Grade Counselor
Chiarina Chaney: I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but I
have been living in Las Vegas for 28 years. Before becoming a counselor,
I was a classroom teacher. Over the years, I have taught grades K-6.
I received my Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University
of Nevada at Las Vegas. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I especially enjoy going to San Diego with my husband Jim, and playing
with my grandson Riley.

Eighth Grade Counselor
I am a Las Vegas
native. After graduating from Durango High School, I received a Bachelors
of Liberal Arts Psychology and a K-8 teaching licensure at the University
of Nevada Las Vegas. I taught first and second grade for three years
until I earned my Masters in Educational Counseling. I have been a school
counselor for the last two years, first as an elementary counselor and
then as the 8th grade counselor here at Canarelli Middle School. For
the 2007-2008 school year I will continue as the 8th grade counselor.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing softball, volleyball, and
having barbeques with family and friends.
