Pre-Registration 25-26
Welcome to the Canarelli Middle School community! We are so excited to have your student(s) join us for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Below you will find helpful information for upcoming events, elective pre-registration, and online registration. Be sure to review the course catalog for complete details on all Canarelli course offerings. Incoming 6th Graders

Upcoming 5th Grade Events:

5th Grade Night: Parents and future 6th graders are invited to attend this event on Wednesday, February 26th. Doors will open at 5:45pm. Families will attend an assembly to learn about our performing arts programs and other electives. They can then tour parts of the campus and attend our resource fair.

5th Grade Day: 5th grade students who attend our feeder schools (Alamo, Fine, Mathis and Steele) will visit Canarelli to tour the campus, meet teachers and learn about elective options and registration. This field trip will be on Wednesday, March 5th.

5th Grade Instrument Night: Future Canarelli 6th graders and their families are invited to attend on Thursday, March 6th from 6:00-7:30pm. They will have the opportunity to meet the band and orchestra directors and try out instruments to see which might be a good fit for them.

6th Grade Elective Pre-registration:

Students coming from a feeder school (Alamo, Fine, Mathis or Steele) will receive pre-registration information from their counselors and classroom teachers. Those students will select their elective on a pink worksheet that requires a parent signature and will then complete a google form in their 5th grade class.

If your student is zoned for Canarelli but does not currently attend Alamo, Fine, Mathis or Steele, you have received an email with pre-registration information from Amanda Previlon. If you have not received this email, please reach out to her at previal@nv.ccsd.net.

All incoming 6th grade students will select their electives before Spring Break.
Incoming 7th & 8th Graders

Elective Pre-registration for incoming 7th and 8th grade students will be completed during the last week of February through the first week of March in all ELA 6 and ELA 7 classes. Counselors will meet with students to review all available options.

Parent signatures on promptly submitted elective forms allows for schedules to be selected for students.
Online Registration (ORL)
Beginning April 15, 2024, parents and guardians will be able to complete Online Registration (ORL) for the upcoming school year. Parents who have children currently registered in a CCSD school use their Campus Parent account to re-register their children or add a student.
